Dinosaurs visit Syracuse

This year the Oncenter hosted a Dinosaur exhibit in downtown Syracuse. Since Riley and McKenzie are obsessed with dinosaurs, we figured there was no better way to spend a Sunday. The dinosaurs looked very real; they moved, they roared, and they were breathing. I wasn't sure if the girls would be scared since they looked so alive, but once again they ran in full force with open eyes, ready to learn. I was amazed with their lack of fear. They definitely don't get that strong trait from me.

Kenz was shocked at how big they were....can you tell!?

Have no fear! Daddy is here!

Or Mommy. Mommy is okay too!

Dare you to touch it!

Finding dinosaur bones in the sand....Riley's favorite part!

So glad our niece Lila could spend the day with us! Everything is a little more fun when a cousin is around!

Don't ask.

Lila and her Daddy

Love hands on exhibits!

"Oh hi! My name is Riley, and this is Kenzie, and this is a dinosaur"

Nice face, leave it to Kenz.

Sure! I'll ride a dinosaur!

First time playing mini-golf for the both of them.

By the end of the day we were all tired and ready for a nap. This is the last picture of the day that prompted a full blown meltdown. I love taking pictures of moments like this because I want to remember all the good....with the not so good. I've come to realize that every parents goes through moments like this, no matter how big or small. It's all about capturing each moment, she won't be small like this forever.

Winter in Upstate NY = Snow

Last year was a very mild winter.....this year, not so much. Although we've been hit with a variety of blizzards this season, these pictures were from the mildest of them all. This is just one "cute" little storm we were blessed with this winter. Sense the sarcasm? It's beautiful yes, but I'm over the snow, actually not the snow at all, the cold. I can do without that for awhile. I'm just looking forward to warm summer nights sitting out on our back patio watching the girls play. Is that too much to ask for?

First snowball fight. Daddy and Kenzie vs. Mac

Even Riley got in on the fun!

But she mostly likes to stand there and look cute. She's not exactly all about the cold and snow.

 Snowball fight!

Mini-shooters Soccer 2013

Soccer Time!

Since our "c" key is no longer working, this should be an interesting post. (We literally have to paste the letter "c" each time we want to use it, thank you girls once again....) It's supposed to be about soccer and all the fun the girls are having this session, but it will most likely be a photo dump of our cuties in action.

Riley stretches

Riley made her own fun at soccer. She was the one running in random circles and breaking out into dance.

At one point she had an episode with the pinny in which I regretfully have no pictures or videos to share. Only Kristeen, Brian, and I have it burned into our memories. It was hilarious.

She loved when coach Audrey bounced the ball off her head.

Warm ups for Kenz

Red light, green light fun....

Spaceship fun...

After she made her first goal...

She forgot all about the game....

Gave Daddy a big hug....

...and watched the rest of the game with her sister.

Not sure if Riley is a better cheerleader or soccer player...
