Christmas shopping...

is ALMOST done! Can you believe it? Usually we wait until the last minute to do it, like days before, but for some reason this year we are calm-cool and collected. No stress here! Here are some of our gift ideas...

Some gift ideas for the girls, in no order or relevance...

Riley is getting her first doll house this Christmas. This Barbie Rock Star Castle fit exactly what we were looking for!
For McKenzie's birthday we bought here a Leap Pad 2. She loves it....the part I don't love? The batteries. So plan on buying re-chargeable batteries.

What I didn't realize was that the Leapster gaming unit uses the same games. Therefore, we got one for Riley  so she an play the same time, at 1/3 of the cost.

These games are a little pricey, but if you catch them on sale, you can get them for under $20 a piece. I just bought this one on amazon.com for $13 this morning.
Riley loves anything to do with her kitchen, food, and her tea set. Therefore, we got her some new food since Mac ate destroyed all of the original food.

Tea sets- a dream come true for Riley

Along with tea parties, Riley loves giving check ups. She'll be so happy to have a new set of these. Since once again, Mac decided to eat all the parts...=) They have sets similar to these on sale at Target for $10.

Puzzles!!! Both the girls are totally into these now. I bought these wooden puzzles from Melissa and Doug and also some puzzles for $3.99 on sale from Target of the Disney Princesses and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Love sales!
I will have to post a picture of Riley's Rapunzel doll. It's a mess, shredded, thin, and missing all the stuffing. My Mom has thankfully replaced it with this adorable Snow White doll.

If you have a i pod and a kid you need one of these. My Mom always finds these little gems. It plays music from the i pod dock and allows the kids to sing along with it. Plus it's portable. Kinda cool right?

A lifelong friend bought this for McKenzie for a birthday. She loves play-doh, and when you mix in princesses it makes it even cooler. You can mold princesses, the prince and other cool things with this Play-Doh castle. Play-doh will definite show up this Christmas.

Anything Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Kenzie can't get enough. Enough said....

And a favorite in our house....

Happy shopping!

things i love thursday- holiday movie edition

How can you NOT love this holiday lineup!? With Thanksgiving right around the corner, that cool, brisk air, and hot cocoa just fingertips away, these movies are the best while snuggled up with a warm blanket on the couch.  You'll know where to find me the next few weekends!
