Christmas 2013

I'm a little behind with this post. I am well away aware of this. However, I have been trying to live more in the moment and less behind the computer screen.  Christmas this year was a very special one for us. It was incredibly magical to see the girls capture the spirit of Christmas and spend time with people who love us.

Buddy visited this year...and got himself into all different sort of antics....

West Road breakfast with Santa (my Mom and I have been doing this with the girls since McKenzie was born,...it's my Mom's elementary school that she works at, so we like to show love and support every year)

After we meet Santa we always go check out the book fair....my Mom graciously goes overboard when allowing the girls to pick out and buy books....they couldn't be happier.

More of Buddy's shenanigans...

Snow!! It was so fluffy and white!

Mac even got involved in the celebration,....

Rileys' freakishly weird gingerbread man ornament. Check out the eyes.

Riley's Christmas party with Santa. I cannot say enough about her preschool. They go far beyond my expectations to make days like these extra special and memorable.

Kenzie was proud of her reindeer antlers and Rudolph nose (notice the sub in  her hand...she wouldn't put it down because it was soooooooooooo good)

Santa visited my parents house out in Marcy right before Christmas,...this wasn't planned at all, but instead turned into one of the perfect timing moments,...we basically showed up at just the right time. I can remember being a kid myself waiting with my brother at the end of the same driveway waiting to see the big guy as he handed me a candy cane. I'm so glad the girls got to experience this with my parents.

Our family picture...December 2013

Finished cookies...they came out....good? Each cookie had enough sprinkles to kill a small deer,...but, Santa loved them.

The special key to let Santa into the house since we don't have a chimney...

Mac guarding the tree.....

Santa was good to us....Mac felt the need to protect and serve....and those cookies for Santa? Let's just say they got the heart pumping!

Christmas morning 2013- We got our white Christmas!

Two happy little girls....

Merry Christmas!
