Well, another soccer season is in the books....and compared to last year,...it was honestly hit or miss. I as a "soccer Mom" sat through my first horrifically cold, raining, sleety, soccer practice and lived to tell about it (kudos to me). Kenzie absolutely loved it (like always), but was often bored waiting for others to run the drill,....so I would find her with her pinny over her head (think about Beavis with his shirt over his head), twirling in circles....Riley had a great experience once a friend showed up....it was only then her confidence sailed, but she often got "too tired" and needed to take a rest....aka go play on the playground ten feet away. Luckily this league is just for fun....no serious games or practices,...just a bunch of cute little kids....tripping over a bunch of soccer balls....not knowing how to play "Duck, duck, goose".
